Practice Book: Many professors also assign the Practice Book because the exercise sets help the rules stick. Early exercise sets build incrementally through the various parts of a citation, with later sets having students draft complete case citations (and then unreported cases, public domain citations, quotations, statutory citations, citations to secondary sources, common mistakes, etc.). Students can check their work with the answers and explanations in the back, providing formative and low-stress practice. For $9.99 (with coupon), it's a great tool and value.

Online Materials: Free with the book, the tutorial videos provide an engaging way to review the rules. To not be burdensome, students who already learned a topic well can click the "skip" button on that video. But audio-visual learners appreciate having visual tutorials available. The online quizzes provide formative reviews and highlight important reminders and common mistakes. Students must score an 80% or higher on all quizzes to receive their Certificate of Completion. Requiring students to turn in their Certificate of Completion helps ensure students have engaged in the materials (whether it be the book, Practice Book, tutorial videos, are all three).

The online quizzes are multiple-choice and auto-graded. They also provide answers and instant explanations after each question is answered. Students have reported actually liking the quizzes because they helped students learn and review in a low-stress environment.

The website generates a Certificate of Completion for each student once they've scored at least an 80% on all quizzes.
